Spotless room, all in all had lovely stay.
Had excellent and amazing location close to local shops etc, a walking distance from Sherlock Holmes Statue. What's more, it was very close to the town center, the St Andrews square and the castle, the palace, High street, tram is 5 minutes walking. I enjoyed the room, the bed was very comfy. Fairly friendly staff and the breakfast was great with cookies, excellent coffee and chocolate.

central location, small private parking, recently decorated common areas
Bathroom lacked ventilation and proper space!!! Unfinished details like handrails and plaster. A longer power board for hairdryers would be convenient!!! Mattress sheets too small!!!

We loved being close to the local pubs and restaurants, only a 15-minute walk to the Royal Mile. The free parking was great, and the room was comfy. Don't miss the delicious breakfast every morning! Check out the Virgin Active health club nearby for a great workout before exploring the city.
The only downside was that we were on the top floor, and there were a lot of stairs, a bit of a trek after a long day.
